Event Description:
Come join CMA Members and Sponsors Cabinetmaker+FDM Magazine on Friday, C.R. Onsrud, Progressive Machinery LLC, and RouterCad on February 10, 2012 for the Central Florida Regional Event.This full day event is part of the CMA's own Professional Certification Program. The event will be held at A Ward Designs, a CMA member shop in Winter Haven, FL. Winter Haven is about mid-way between Orlando and Tampa. This event promises to be a winner! Our host, Kevin Ward is very excited to show off his brand new CNC router and the software and systems he uses to make his highly automated shop work at peak efficiency. On hand will be CMA Speakers Bureau veteran member and Executive Director Dave Grulke from CMA headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. With the CMA's announcement this summer of its brand new Professional Certification Program , Dave will present an informative talk with a Q&A session about how shop owners and senior managers can benefit from enrolling in the program. Two advertising and marketing sessions for small to mid-sized woodworking shops are on tap for the featured educational sessions for the day. Christian Smedburg, director of marketing at Osborne Wood Products and a member of the CMA Speakers Bureau will discuss new media marketing techniques using Google, Adwords, SEO, SEM and a number of others to assist you in driving new business to your website and through your doors in his CMA CEU accredited educational session. Dave Grulke of the CMA will also present a fully accredited CMA CEU session entitled "How to Make Dollars and Sense from your Advertising Expenses". This seminar covers nearly every type of traditional print and broadcast media, how to buy it, how to evaluate it and gives attendees the tools to know exactly what works best for them. In addition, CMA sponsors will provide informative, educational formal presentations. Ample time for discussion and questions will follow each presentation. Plus there will drawings for door prizes and other give-aways throughout the day.

Note: Informal discussions and networking could go as long as participants are willing.
