Established in 1995 by a father and son business partnership, today Danlee Wood Products is operated by brothers as a custom cabinet manufacturer serving the residential and commercial markets in the Forreston, IL area.
 
Describe your project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.
This particular project was part of a whole house new-build. The homeowners had already finalized their plans with the architect when they approached our Kitchen Designer about supplying cabinetry. At that point, the foundation had already been poured, and the size of the primary suite closet could not be changed. In comparison to the size of the home, the closet was on the small side to begin with, and in addition to that, the homeowners did not want any dressers or armoires in the bedroom. Meaning all clothing, shoes, and accessories were to be stored in the closet. We set out to conquer this challenge by optimizing every square inch of the closet. There is a “dressing area” just inside the closet with a small mirror, and two jewelry drawers below, and a full-length mirror behind the door for a final outfit check. This is the only place there will be drawers in the bedroom, therefore, a tall unit with both doors and drawers was placed conveniently across from the doorway. No closet would be complete without shoe storage, and what better way to fill a dead corner, than to integrate “his” and “hers” shoe carousels into each corner.
