2023 Wood Diamond Award Commercial Hospitality Periwinklers First Place

Periwinklers' work is 90% commercial and 10% residential. Typically they have 5-7 people working which includes office staff/draftsman. Most of their work is through contractors, not direct to the end customer.

Describe your project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.
This restaurant spared very little when it came to design and execution. The veneers in the main bar were selected and laid up from one log. We also provided all of the arched openings as a sub assembly cut on the CNC and then finished all trim in a similar manner. The coffered ceiling was executed by creating miter folds on the CNC. We also built the bar diewalls and curved walls/forms. The project used over 80 sheets of Teak veneer laid up in our shop. We also built the tambour in house that created the partition wall. The project also included all server stations, hostess stand, pastry window, floating shelves, mirror frames, and other cabinetry throughout the interior and exterior.
