2024 Wood Diamond Award Bathroom: Face Frame Under $10K Timbercraft Cabinetry & Woodwork First Place

They are a small company just south of Kansas City. They opened Timbercraft with the intention of providing high quality cabinetry and furniture to my local area. Our typical projects are kitchen and bathroom remodels with a little furniture and interior/exterior doors sprinkled in. They love that each project is different and specific to each client we work with.

Describe your project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.

This was an exciting project with a client that had a specific vision for their master bathroom. A southwest style was her goal. The wood for this project was a combination of wormy cypress for the frame work and chevron patterned reclaimed chestnut center panels for the doors. All components were fabricated by company. For the finish work we did a combination of worn through jade paint, provincial stain, and a conversion varnish top coat.
