Describe your project, what makes it unusual, and/or any outstanding characteristics.
This combined "His and Her" closet had more than 100 LF of custom cabinets, most of them 111" tall. Made from Rift White Oak and Painted finishes, each section of cabinetry was tailored to meet the homeowners needs. Much of the storage had no handles, utilizing the "tip-on" hardware from Blum. All drawer boxes utilized the Blum Legrabox system. Outside corners of cabinetry, where doors and drawers met finished end panels, were mitered. We invested in a Festool Conturo edgbander to veneer band the miters (since the faces were also veneered). One of the major challenges was getting the large amount of casework to the top floor of the condo building. The building had an antiquated (and small) elevator, and most of the cabinetry would not fit. We rented a crane and hoisted all the cabinetry through a window. We pulled most of our shop to make it more efficient, and we were able to get it all delivered into the unit within just a few hours.
